Sound recording of interview concerning Tucson's development in the 1940s including the impact of World War II on Tucson's economy. Tells about his business supplying Columbia Pictures during the filming of the movie "Arizona", difficulty getting merchandise during the war, and Ginger Rogers and other movie stars in Tucson for a war bond drive. He also mentions William Mathews, the Emory Park and Pueblo Gardens neighborhoods, and gangsters and gambling.
